There has been an establishment where people could come to eat and drink on the site of The Dairsie Inn since the village of Osnaburgh, later Dairsiemuir, was founded in the late 18th Century.

An extract from the 1891 census shows The Plough Inn, as it was called at the time and well into the 1900's, under the ownership of a Mr William Doig on the site.

Nowadays, the Dairsie Inn can be relied upon to have a homely atmosphere and a fine selection of wines, ales and spirits to tempt your palates. With wheelchair access from our large car park, all are welcome to take a rest from their journey or spend a pleasant hour or two relaxing in our traditional Scottish Inn.

Friday night is Poker night with a closely fought competition every week, just for points. Come along and join in the fun!
